De Tomaso P900 Hypercar Set To Hit The Track With Stunning Exhaust System

Let alone the hypercar itself, the De Tomaso P900's exhaust system is going to be really stunning. After years of development, the retro-inspired hypercar P72 will finally go into production in the second half of this year, and the P900 will be its track-going counterpart.
We first noticed the hypercar's headers and exhaust are perfectly symmetrical, with a single collector feeding into what should be two tailpipes.
In late 2022, when De Tomaso first revealed the P900, the company said that buyers could choose between a 6.2-liter V12 engine manufactured by the German engineering company Capricorn or a V10 engine salvaged from a 1997 Benetton B197 Formula 1 racecar.
Now, these teasers only use the V12 in hashtags. According to De Tomaso, it will reach 12,300 rpm while weighing just 485 lbs. The engine can run on synthetic gasoline that doesn't contain any carbon, and it will transfer power to the back wheels using a sequential Xtrac gearbox. The De Tomaso P900 has a dry weight of just 1,984 lbs. and generates a whopping 888 hp. Finally, the P900 will be unveiled this summer.
