The BMW X3 facelift and the iX3 models are listed amongst the newest cars approved for sale in China. The early debut happened without any previous announcement. Would you guess the envy amongst the BMW customers for those who can now see if the global models look virtually the same?
The first thing you will notice from the pictures above would be the grilles that are on both sides connected to the mirror making the vehicles different from the previous models. Also, both crossovers come with the M Sport Package with aggressive front bumpers.
Unveiled just 10 months ago, the iX3, the Bavarian automaker brings its cohesive design while the X3 lineup shows off the unconventionally powered model with zero-emissions derivative. The new updated headlights and taillights are part of the Life Cycle Impulse, with extra dual exhaust finishers that replace the smaller round tips of the pre-facelift version. Also, the difference from the previously unveiled model was the replacing the fake vertical air vents which have been embedded into the rear bumper of both crossovers.
Soon the X3 and iX3 models are expected to reach other markets and there are rumors going around about new features for both exterior designs and interior. Meanwhile, it’s confirmed that the X3 and the iX3i crossovers will have the BMW’s Drive 8 infotainment system as part of the mid-cycle revisions and its mild-hybrid powertrains. Everyone expects the range-topping of the X3 M and X4 to follow the X3 series next year.
