Challenger Hellcat Grille And BMW Chassis Are Used On This 1965 Mustang Build

This rendering by Abimelic Design, commissioned by Custom FN Customs, is a great illustration of how far custom automobile design has come. The majority of the body is Mustang. It's definitely based on a 1965 model, according to the designer, and the big fender flares offer it a much more contemporary aspect.
Fender flares may look out of place on a pony car, but the front fascia is much more shocking, coming straight out of a modern-day Dodge Challenger Hellcat. After all that, there's more to be discovered.
In fact, it's a German chassis that powers this supposedly American vehicle. Behind all the bodywork will be a 2000s E46 BMW 3-Series, which means there won't be a V8 beneath the hood, only a straight-six. However, supplying it from a BMW is a clever idea.
Surprisingly, this Mustang isn't all fictional. It was commissioned by Custom FN Customs, a business in northern California that is claimed to be in the midst of constructing the "Wallenstein" automobile.
