Carbon-Fiber Aero Package By TechArt Fitted To Porsche Taycan
by AutoExpert | 9 August, 2021
TechArt, which debuted its 22-inch wheels for the Porsche Taycan a year ago, has now released a carbon design package for the electric counterpart, allowing for even more personalization.
The aero parts are designed of carbon-fiber and are available in several bespoke colors and finishes. The package complements the lines of the Taycan by mimicking the factory-spec panels' style.
The splitter, central intake surround, headlight trim, and air curtains are all made of carbon-fiber in the front. The enormous 22-inch TechArt Formula VI wheels, which were introduced in June 2020, define the silhouette. In addition, side skirts, mirror caps, and window triangles add a touch of carbon to the side profile.
The Porsche emblem has been replaced with a new panel with TechArt inscription, as well as new pieces for the spoiler, diffuser, and bumper extensions.
With perforated leather and jet-black Alcantara upholstery for the dash, door cards, and seats, as well as contrasting pieces in vivid hues, the cabin is significantly less modest. The TechArt symbol is stitched on the headrests and can be located in the center of the custom-made steering wheel.
The electric Porsche's powertrain and suspension were left unchanged by the tuner. The fastest Taycan Turbo S delivers up to 750 hp (560 kW / 761 PS) and 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) of torque, letting it to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 2.6 secs and max speed of 260 km/h (161 mph).
TechArt will next provide an electronic configurator for the Taycan, similarly to the one that is currently offered for other Porsche cars. It will allow owners to customize the car to their preference. Buyers can adjust the finish and coloring of the aero package elements.
