Canadian Dubuc Motors Relies On Crowdfunding To Launch Their Supercar
by AllAutoExperts | 4 February, 2016
Dubuc Motors is a Canadian brand that hasn't quite managed to make a name for itself in the past years.
You may remember it from 2014 when the last news about it flashed in the media sources.
However, the company wants a comeback in the marketplace, but not the way you would expect. It announced crowdfunding that might bring the Tomahawk model on the market.
The crowdfunding takes place through StartEngine and is expected to gather 25 million dollars. This would make selling Tomahawk in 2017 possible.
One of the main differences between Tomahawk and other electric models coming from Tesla Models and Faraday is the quite moderate price of 100 000 dollars.
Dubuc says that the car will have a 300 mph fully electric range. There will be two twin engines in front and in the back, ensuring all-wheel drive. The body will be made of light aluminum.
