The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology first unveiled the updated XT5, which Cadillac is about to release. They’ve recently shared images, including a first look at the revamped interior.
The XT5 seems like it took design cues from the Lyriq with its 33-inch curved screen, similar steering wheel, and seat controls positioned on the door. Meanwhile, the distinctive dashboard features a broad strip of dark wood trim.
Stylish speaker grilles, a floating center console, and separate temperature controls are a few more standout features. Additionally, Cadillac has hinted at future 126-color ambient lighting and "Eames-inspired seats." Nappa leather and a roomier cargo area with a capacity of 23.1 cu. ft. (653 l.) are further features available to buyers.
The model's body sports a large grille, split lighting units, a strong shoulder line, tight bodywork, and other distinctive features. A back pillar with a blacked-out accent connects them.
A small crest and spoiler on the roof will complete the look. The updated Cadillac XT5 will come with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that delivers 227 horsepower. As for the size, the new XT5 is longer than its predecessor, the 189.6-inch (4,816 mm) model, coming in at 192.4 inches (4,888 mm). Overall, the updated Cadillac XT5 impresses with its enhanced dimensions and performance features, promising an amazing driving experience.
