Cadillac InnerSpace Concept Is a Mind-Reading, Self-Driving Car
by AutoExpert | 24 November, 2022
Cadillac debuted the groundbreaking InnerSpace concept about a year ago. The InnerSpace, as the name indicates, is a vehicle designed for two people to enjoy a tranquil and elegant environment together. It operates on its own, while artificial intelligence (AI) within works to provide an unforgettable experience.
We may assume that passengers will be able to view movies and play video games on a giant panoramic LED display that also allows them to interact with the car's many controls.
In addition, Cadillac promotes "wellness recover themes," or activities that are meant to help you unwind after a hard day. The large windows on the side and top of the vehicle allow passengers to take in their surroundings as they travel.
The body of the Cadillac InnerSpace is low and long, giving it a sporty appearance. The Ultium battery modules in this design are dispersed rather than grouped in a single unit. According to Cadillac, this makes the already spacious InnerSpace even more so.
Due to the intangible nature of the InnerSpace, it is very unlikely that it will ever be manufactured. It's possible, however, that some of the car's styling and innovation may make their way into mass-produced cars down the road.
Bryan Nesbitt, GM's executive director of global advanced design and global architecture studio, predicts that electrification and autonomous driving will dramatically alter the function of cars and how consumers interact with them.
