Car enthusiasts and gamers, get ready for a thrilling blend of luxury and speed! Bulgari, the famed Italian watchmaker, is breaking new ground by introducing the Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo Concept to Sony's Gran Turismo 7 next year.

This marks a unique moment as Bulgari becomes the first non-car maker to join the Gran Turismo lineup, a feat even Nike and Jordan haven't achieved.

The reveal took place at the Gran Turismo World Finals 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, alongside Genesis's X Gran Berlinetta VGT.

But Bulgari's concept car isn't just any roadster; it's a tribute to their iconic Aluminum watch. This sleek timepiece, known for its unconventional aluminum and rubber design, first made waves back in 1998 and was revived in 2020 with a fresh line.

This car's creation story is as captivating as the vehicle itself. It began with a chance encounter between Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, the senior director at Bulgari's Watch Design Center, and Fabio Filippini, an ex-Pininfarina designer.

Inspired by a book on car design, Stigliani reached out to Filippini, and together they crafted this masterpiece.

The concept car is a stunning mix of brushed aluminum and carbon fiber, peppered with rubber for protection. Its design echoes the wedge shape popular in 1970s Italian concept cars, linking it to historical gems like the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.

Every detail of the Aluminum VGT pays homage to its Italian roots, from the rubber-tipped front fascia to the central row of headlights and the twin horizontal taillamps. However, unlike the P33 Roadster, its predecessor, the Aluminum VGT keeps its engine a mystery, revealed only through its exhaust sound in the promo video.

But Bulgari didn't stop at the car. They've also launched a limited edition Aluminum chronograph watch, available in two versions: one with a yellow face, the other with anthracite. These exquisite watches feature aluminum rods, rubber links, and titanium accents, along with a special 10th Anniversary Vision GT logo.

Lucky buyers of this watch get early access to the Aluminum VGT concept in GT7, while the rest of us will have to wait until next year. So, gamers and car lovers, buckle up for a luxurious ride into the virtual world of Gran Turismo with Bulgari's latest masterpiece.
