BMW M4 Coupe gets new groundbreaking technologies and water injection!

BMW presented a new injection system ... based on the water! We know it sounds strange, but actually, its operating principle is very simple and engineers from M Performance Division explained how things work. Water is used to reduce air temperature aspired by the engine so that it will increase its volume and hence the heat factor, which in turn increases engine performance.
Water is injected under high pressure as very small particles being that fights with high temperatures near the valves, facilitating a greater volume of colder air intake as compared to a normal engine. It also ensures a delayed detonation in the combustion chambers and so even the ignition has been "delayed".
The result is higher performance, better longevity for engine components, and high efficiency. However, the Bavarians have not disclosed exactly how they managed to increase engine power but we will learn about this learn later as the new technology is implemented on production cars in the near future!
