Avatr has just introduced the limited-edition Avatr 012 in Shanghai. Designed by fashion designer Kim Jones, the vehicle features unique styling and comes with a Dior bag. Nader Faghihzadeh, a former BMW designer, led the design team that collaborated with Jones to produce this exclusive model.
Based on the Avart 12, the Avatr 012 is a special edition model from the Chinese automaker. A unique Liquid Silver tone with a slick metal finish makes it even more special.
Avatr fitted a new set of 21-inch forged alloy wheels, a display located on the hood, and cameras that serve as mirrors. White Nappa leather seats complement the interior's suede upholstery. Owners have the option to customize the steering wheel and B-pillars with their own badges, while the integrated headrests feature the Avatr and Kim Jones logos. Two large screens, one at the bottom of the windshield and one within, provide for an impressive 15.6-inch infotainment system.
A 16-inch foldable screen and a starry-night roof design are available to rear passengers. Avatr has also included a 27-speaker sound system, wireless charging pads, and Huawei's ADS 2.0 intelligent driving technology. Future owners will also receive a medium-sized Dior Book Tote bag, with the color and pattern chosen at random.
Two electric motors developed by Huawei, the DriveOne, give the special Avatr 539 horsepower. The CATL 5C Qilin battery efficiently stores energy, charging from 30 to 80 percent in just 10 minutes. Kim Jones's Avatr 012 is a limited edition, with only 700 units available, priced at ¥700,000 (around $98,000). In contrast, the base model Avatr 12 with a single motor costs ¥265,800 ($37,200) for the entry-level model.
