In April this year, the Porsche Taycan 4S will be auctioned in Zurich and its commissions will be donated to a non-profit organization This isn’t just a loud head-turning electric Taycan 4S, but also, a sheet metal painted by New York City artist Richard Phillips. The exterior was an enormous ‘canvas’ to let your imagination inspire and create vibrant colorful plants, butterflies, and a peaceful cloudy sky. Philip’s Queen of the Night 2010 painting inspired the masterpiece.
Originally displayed in Leuehof restaurant in Zurich in late 2020, Porsche decided to auction it, due to the coronavirus restrictions. The auction is scheduled for April in Zug, but in March, the Taycan will be displayed in other Swiss operating centers. Remember, this is a charitable event for Taycan lot since all its selling proceeds will be donated to the Swiss Suisseculture Sociale non-profit organization that supports creative artists.
RM Sotheby auction house will sell it via an online seven-day auction starting 6 April 2021. The winner will get a bonus – a tour of the Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen plant where the sedan is built. The funds from this particular will be used to help some of the artists affected by the pandemic. Porsche’s charitable action will help many and the Taycan 4S painted by Richard Phillips is the best artwork to help other artists.
