Alan Mulally, Ford chief for the last eight years, will retire in June of this year!

The Ford Motor Company will have a new CEO on the first day of July 2014. This will be Mark Fields, the current operations manager of Ford.
The current chief, Alan Mulally, led ford for the last eight years and managed to bring the company back to profit, Ford is the only one of the three Detroit carmakers who didn't request financial help from the American state.
Mulally's successor has been working for Ford since 1989 and occupied important positions in several divisions of Ford. The future CEO of Ford has 53 years and promises to continue the strategy launched by Mulally. Alan Mulally came to Ford's leadership after he had a leading position at Boeing.
Mulally is now 68 years and is considered responsible for the current success enjoyed by Ford, which expects a profit of seven billion dollars in 2014. Ford will continue the campaign of launching 23 new models being planned in the near future.
