After 27 years Mitsubishi withdraws from Illinois. The factory is to be closed in 2016

Mitsubishi Motors closes one of its factories built in the United States. It's about the plant in the town Normal, Illinois, which served for 27 years, 1200 workers were employed here! Earlier this week, 900 of them were dismissed and the rest 300 will be laid off in 2016.
About the intention to close one of its factories Mitsubishi announced it a long time ago, but here they are just taking action. The decision comes as a result of low demand in the US market, so that after more than two decades of manufacturing the plant from Normal suspend its activities since May.
The management promised to deal with the fate of his former employees and will hold a job fair next week. Moreover, dismissed workers will receive financial rewards by the end of 2015.
