A Student's Idea For The Next-Gen Ferrari SF90 Stradale
by AutoExpert | 31 December, 2022
The SF90 Stradale is Ferrari's pinnacle model at the moment due to its electrified prowess. Therefore, the Ferrari SF100 concept was created by a design student as a digital-only vision of the future generation of the plug-in hybrid supercar while we wait for Ferrari to reveal a hardcore model in 2023.
@ur jeen, a student at Seoul, South Korea's Hongik University, majoring in Automotive Design, came up with the idea.
The SF100 has a similar profile to the SF90, yet these two supercars are really significantly different from one another. The young designer went with a minimalistic front end without embellishing the bumper, grille, or LED headlamps. The bumper now features narrower air vents and a larger chin.
The SF100's main selling point is its all-glass canopy. Profile-wise, the enlarged front and rear fenders are still there, but new, less streamlined side intakes have been added. LED taillights on the SF90 have gone from a rounded square to four separate lines, and an active spoiler sits above the whole thing.
The diffuser is less obtrusive than the one on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and it incorporates the twin exhaust pipes and the brake light typical of Formula One cars. The designer just said that the idea is still a plug-in hybrid without providing any more details regarding the powertrain or the hypothetical specifications.
