by AutoExpert | 9 December, 2024
BMW and fashion label Kith have unveiled a collector's edition based on the XM performance SUV, continuing their string of unique partnerships. The unique BMW XM Kith, unveiled at Miami's Art Basel event, is one of only 47 vehicles built.
Its distinctive style and rarity make it an impressive acquisition. The two behemoths have collaborated before. BMW and Kith have previously released editions such as the i4 M50 (2022) and M4 Competition Coupe (2020).
The XM Kith, the first M model to undergo a complete redesign since its 1978 debut, pays homage to the iconic M1. One exclusive color option for the XM Kith XM Kith is the BMW Individual Violet Frozen Techno, which lends the vehicle an aura of refined elegance.
The headlights, which have extra LEDs installed, feature purple highlights and side windows that have black designs. Showcasing the same shade of illumination, the Iconic Glow grille rounds out the futuristic appearance. The car's wheels are 23 inches in diameter and have a star pattern with subtle purple pigmentation.
On the inside, the BMW XM Kith stands out with its rare and opulent touches. The door sills display an illuminated '1/47', while the velour floor mats and Kith logos further accentuate the model's unique character. Upholstered in luxurious Merino leather, the carbon M seats exude an air of sophistication, complemented by an elegant center console and armrest. The purple ambient lighting creates an elegant environment that complements the car's overall concept.
As an extra touch that highlights the tech-style blend, owners will also receive a Kith-designed bag specifically for charging cords. The BMW XM's pricing remains unknown, with first deliveries scheduled for the second half of 2025.
