$30,000 Chevrolet Equinox EV Is Scheduled To Go On Sale In 2023

Electric versions of the Chevrolet Equinox crossover SUV and the Chevrolet Blazer SUV are set to debut in 2023 as 2024 models, according to General Motors. The announcement was made during GM CEO Mary Barra's keynote speech at CES 2022.
The launches of the Equinox EV and Blazer EV, together with the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV, represent a critical aspect of GM's electric-car plan for 2023. The Bolt and Bolt EUV will be joined by three more versions.
The Equinox EV and Blazer EV, like the Silverado EV, will be built on GM's scalable Ultium chassis, which has floor-mounted batteries and flexible skateboard-style construction. The Equinox EV will be a completely new model that will not be based on the ICE vehicle.
With an MSRP of roughly $30,000, General Motors hopes to make electric vehicles more accessible to the general public. Together with the news came a few renderings of the upcoming Chevrolet Equinox EV. While sitting closer to the ground, the elegant shape appears to be sportier than the ICE model.
Interior images show a cabin characterized by a widescreen panel in the middle, but with a fairly standard button arrangement. Technical specifications have yet to be disclosed, but the Chevrolet Equinox EV's range should be about 250-300 miles.
