3,000 HP Greek Chaos Ultracar Will Make Its World Debut In November

At last year's Geneva Motor Show, Greek start-up SP Automotive made some very wild claims about its planned debut model, the Chaos, which was slated to be unveiled. After a break from public statements, founder Spyros Panopoulos felt it was time for Chaos to have its world premiere on November 1, 2021.
It has already received its first order, and the first delivery is slated for early in 2022, according the company’s founder, Spyros Panopoulos. He also announced that the Chaos will be road legal, with prices ranging from €5.5 million ($6.4 million) for the base 2,000 hp model to €12.4 million ($14.4 million) for the full-spec 3,000 hp model.
In order to maintain exclusivity, the firm aims to make 15 to 20 handcrafted automobiles every year, but no more than 100 in total. Even in entry-level (2,000-HP) form, such figures appear overly optimistic considering the extravagant price. We heard from SP Automotive that after the public unveiling in Athens, Greece, next month, the company's schedule for 2022-2023 involves having BBC's Top Gear display and evaluate the Chaos, as well as attempting to set several new world records with the vehicle.
Chaos will aim to break the existing Nurburgring lap record of 6:43.616 established by the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. The hypercar's chassis will be built of Zylon, with carbon fiber and kevlar for the bodywork and titanium and magnesium for the 3D printed mechanical pieces.
The new Chaos will be driven by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V10 with 2,000 hp and 11,000 rpm redline. With a titanium or carbon 3D printed engine compartment, titanium or Inconel valves, and a pair of titanium turbochargers, the mid-mounted motor is touted to have it all.
An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission will drive all four wheels. Chaos will have a completely independent double-wishbone suspension. The front and rear ceramic discs will be 428 mm (16.9 inches) and 416 mm (16.4 inches), with magnesium 3D manufactured calipers.
SP Automotive previewed a hypercar named the Apeiron with a pair of gloomy drawings last year. According to their most recent statement, in addition to the Chaos, they will show an electric city vehicle, a hydrogen-powered supercar, and many other works that they have been working on for a long time.
