2025 Promises to Be Electrifying: Fisker Alaska Electric Pickup Stops By

Unveiled at the Product Vision Day event in California on August 3, the Fisker Alaska Electric Pickup is making waves with its electric range of up to 340 miles, an expandable rear bed, and sporty driving dynamics. Set to enter production in the first quarter of 2025, this upcoming EV truck will be launched with a starting price of $45,400.

The pickup, measuring 208.8 inches in length, is slightly shorter than medium-sized trucks like the Toyota Tacoma and Ford Ranger and more than 23 inches shorter than standard EV trucks such as the Tesla Cybertruck and Ford F-150 Lightning. The alloy wheels, ranging between 20 and 22 inches, perfectly complement the sporty aspect of the truck along with the sleek roofline and slim LED lighting units.

The Alaska defies categorization, as its features combine to create a midsize truck with the capacity of a full-size vehicle. This is thanks to a high-tech extendable bed, with the cargo area expandable from 4.5 feet to 7.5 feet using the "Houdini" disappearing partition behind the rear seats, or further to a maximum of 9.2 feet by dropping the power liftgate. Additional features include an extra insulated storage compartment in the front and roof rails.

Inside, official images reveal a large infotainment touchscreen positioned above an expansive center console cup holder. The seats are outfitted with suede-style inserts and include rear pouches and under-armrest storage for items like flashlights and pens.

Built on an enlarged Fisker Ocean platform, the Alaska promises to combine sporty handling and driving dynamics with luxury SUV comfort. Two different battery options, with capacities of 75 kWh and 113 kWh, provide an electric range of between 230-240 miles between charges. While specific details about the electric motors haven't been revealed, it's mentioned that the Alaska can reach 0-60 mph in just 4.0 to 7.5 seconds.

The Fisker Alaska will be assembled in the United States beginning in the first quarter of 2025, with deliveries scheduled for the same year. The starting price does not include any eligible incentives, and pre-orders are now open with fees ranging up to $250 for the first unit and a refundable $100 for the second.
