2025 Genesis GV70 Brings A Sleeker, More Dynamic Drive

A mid-cycle facelift to the Genesis GV70 SUV will debut in May in South Korea before making its way to other markets around the world. The new model's external look is very similar to that of the previous GV70. A new dual-weave mesh front grille and the two-line headlights that employ the brand's newest MLA technology are some of the upgrades.
Starting at the front, you can now see a new skid plate. The 2025 GV70 also gets new wheels—19-inch dark hyper silver ones—among other upgrades. At the rear, the spoiler has undergone a redesign, and the taillights now house the turn signals instead of the bumpers.
Internally, the new GV70 follows in the footsteps of the GV80 sibling by eliminating the previous model's dual 27-inch screens for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. A more conventional rectangular display has replaced the circular one on the temperature control panel.
Genesis has also fitted a new steering wheel, as well as changes to the ambient lighting system. Orange contrast stitching, a dark chrome rear diffuser and muffler tips, larger air intakes, a bespoke G-Matrix Crest Grille, and 21-inch dark metallic wheels are standard equipment.
While Genesis has been mum on the subject of powertrain details, we can safely assume that the same engine choices will be on offer. Some examples of these engines include a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6, a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine, and a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine.
