2023 Subaru Legacy Is Getting A Makeover

Subaru opted to refresh the Legacy for 2023. Most of the modifications are concentrated at the front, where a huge grille and LED headlights are added.
Anyone looking to make a statement may select the newly restyled Sport trim level. A red grille highlight and grey metallic embellishments on the side mirrors and rear spoiler set it apart. The version is also outfitted with grey 18-inch alloy wheels.
The 2023 Subaru Legacy's interior has fine black and grey leather with red contrast piping. A power sunroof, GPS navigation, and extra safety features like Reverse Automatic Braking and a DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System are also available.
Subaru chose to put some explosiveness into the Legacy Sport, which previously had a normally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder motor producing 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. It now has a sport-tuned suspension and a new 2.4-liter turbo engine with 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.
Like all other 2023 Legacy vehicles, it's mated to a continuously variable gearbox and symmetrical all-wheel drive.
Automatic Emergency Steering is now available on models equipped with Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, which avoids unnecessary crashes at speeds less than 50 mph.
The top-of-the-line Legacy Touring XT also gets a Wide-Angle Mono Camera, which increases the field of view even more and allows the vehicle to detect pedestrians and cyclists sooner. Prices for the 2023 Subaru Legacy will be released closer to its introduction date this fall.
