2022 Ford Mondeo Premieres In China

Ford's next-generation Mondeo gets its world premiere in China. Known in the United States as the Ford Fusion, the 5th generation of the popular sedan debuted at the brand's new China Design Center in Shanghai. No word yet on whether or not the 2022 Ford Mondeo will be available outside of China.
The new Ford Mondeo was created using Ford's Progressive Energy in Strength design language, which also appears on the Evos and Equator.
It is built on local consumers' preferences and incorporates three essential principles: command, agility, and responsiveness. Nevertheless, the new Ford Mondeo has a strong front end. Despite the slightly sloped roofline, the car has the design of a classic sedan.
When seen from the side, the sculpted wheel arches and front fenders give the Ford Mondeo a powerful image. The LED taillights having three vertical lines are perhaps the most fascinating piece at the rear. Although the chrome exhaust tips are not linked to the real pipes, the diffuser linked to the bumper offers a sporty look. The door handles, on the other hand, seem to feature a Tesla-style design.
At now, Ford does not disclose any information regarding what goes on in the engine compartment. The new Mondeo will be manufactured by Changan Ford and delivered to Chinese consumers in 2022, according to Ford. Conversely, the 4th-gen Ford Mondeo is scheduled to be phased out in Europe in March of this year.
