2022 Ford Bronco Everglades 2022 Is Tougher Than Ever
by AutoExpert | 11 February, 2022
The 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades, the newest member of the Bronco family, comes equipped with a slew of options that raise its already impressive capabilities even further. It has two major enhancements that set it apart from other Bronco versions right away.
The first is a snorkel that Ford designed and made in-house, complete with easy-to-swap plates that change the inlet's direction. Elevated vents for the front and rear axles, transfer case, and transmission accompanies the snorkel, allowing the Bronco Everglades to ford water up to 36.4 inches (924 mm) deep. Standard Bronco versions, on the other hand, have a fording capability of just 33.5 inches (851 mm).
The Bronco Everglades also comes with a Ford Performance heavy-duty modular front bumper and a Zeon 10-S Warn winch with a 10,000-pound capacity and a 100-foot (30-meter) synthetic line as standard equipment. The model likewise includes the same protective safari bar, rock rails, and steel bash plates as the Black Diamond and Badlands.
A few minor adjustments have also been made. The Bronco Everglades, for example, has different front and rear wheel arches as well as front quarter panel artwork. It also comes with a Carbonized Gray grille with gloss dark Bronco lettering and the Sasquatch kit, which includes 17-inch Carbonized Gray wheels with 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires.
Ford has installed marine-grade vinyl seats and rubberized washout flooring to the Bronco Everglades to make it easy to clean after traveling off-road. The grab handles, air vents, and seat stitching all have Urban Green highlights.
Ford has chosen to offer the Bronco Everglades entirely with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which produces 300 hp and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque. A 10-speed auto gearbox is mated to this powerplant. The 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will be available in five colors: Desert Sand, Eruption Green, Area 51, Shadow Black, and Cactus Gray. Prices start at $53,000 + $1,495 in destination and shipping taxes, and the order will open in March solely for existing Bronco reservation holders.
