World’s Fastest Road-Legal Audi R8 Makes 235 MPH In A Straight Line

While some people are still refusing to call Audi R8 a proper supercar, driver KC Howeth has managed to do the half-mile run at an incredible top speed of 235 mph.
Naturally, the R8 wasn't stock version as it was tuned by Underground Racing to pack a twin-turbo engine. Thanks to fine-tuning the R8 went that fast during the WannaGoFast event held in Texas.
The 2012 Audi R8 GT belongs to Sebastian Robles aka Seafish and Underground Racing says this is a record time for the R8. Enjoy the video below for some speeding awesomeness.
