Why You Shouldn’t Buy a Toyota Supra

Owing a Toyota Supra may turn out rather difficult. Why?
Here are six main reasons why owning a Toyota Supra may not be the coolest experience in your life, to put it mildly:
- Too much attention
When you are buying a car that has managed to make quite a reputation, you have to prepare to comply with it. This means drawing attention everywhere you go and being afraid to park your car and leave there for a couple of minutes so that it doesn't get vandalized.
- Too slow
This car doesn't have a turbo engine, so if you expect to live some Gone in 60 Seconds Moments, forget it. It isn't as fast as you expect it to be.
- Too expensive
We're not referring to the price, exclusively. Besides the acceptable price tag, Supra needs lots of additional fees, including registration and maintenance. Another issue is the police fines, which seem to be unstoppable once you modify a Supra. A modified Supra passes as a defected one in the eyes of the police.
- Too arrogant owners
Most of the Supra owners feel as if they are part of some exclusivist club, believing that their car is the best and the rest suck.
- Too many modifications
Supra is a car that has a very intense aftermarket life, with lots of modifications being available. Once you have a Supra, you cannot simply leave it like that, because there will always be voices asking why arenât you customizing it. And once you start doing that, there will always be newer and better modifications available. And you simply cannot stop.
6. Too much appreciation
Supra is an overestimated model. There are so many better and stronger cars on the market, that don't have half of Supra's ego.
