Veyron’s successor could be the fastest production supercar

The new Bugatti has big ambitions! After the old Veyron managed to stay in the front for a long time, his successor, supposedly named Chiron, promises to be even crazier. Voices behind the scenes say that the new supercar will sprint from zero to 100 in just two seconds!
To be fair, the German's objective is difficult to accomplish but not impossible. Bugatti will keep the same W16 engine, powered by four turbochargers of which two will be electric.
The expected power is 1,500 horsepower and an equal torque. So far these are the only resemblances because the new model will have completely new parts or 92% re-worked parts.
Besides the steroid injection that made possible the addition of 300-horsepower over the engine's limit, it will benefit from the cylinder deactivation system, COD, which will make it more efficient and friendly both with the environment and the owner's pocket.
There is not much information about the launching dates of the new model but we know that it will make its debut no earlier than 2016.
