German tuning house VÄTH wasn't content with the original performance or aesthetics of the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S, so they revealed a modified version with a number of changes.
The CLA 45 S AMG's base 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder generates a respectable 421 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
However, with the addition of new downpipes and updated software, the tuner was able to increase the vehicle's output to an astounding 490 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. There is also a brand-new exhaust system with a flap mechanism that can be adjusted.
VÄTH also improved the Mercedes's stopping power by installing new six-piston front calipers, which clamp down on bigger 390 mm discs. Additionally, the brake lines are braided for added safety.
AMG offers a Performance Package for the CLA 45 S for those who would prefer not to purchase aftermarket parts. With a large fixed rear wing, it can be yours for €2,737 ($2,908), or you can have it for €1,487 ($1,580) without one.
