Tuners In Japan Showcase New Nissan Z Body Kits
by AutoExpert | 2 February, 2022
When a hot new sports vehicle comes along, it's inevitable for tuners to be creative and come up with their ideas. To pique interest, Japanese tuners Busou and Central 20 revealed a picture of their upcoming Nissan Z tuning kit on Twitter. Central 20 has a history of modifying Z vehicles, whereas Busou focuses on Nissan automobiles.
A new front bumper with black-painted add-ons makes the grille appear larger, thanks to the aesthetic package unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon. There's also a large multi-part splitter with red accents that appears to be made of carbon fiber.
The side sill extensions are completed in the same color scheme, and Nissan Z rides on a pair of black aftermarket six-spoke wheels. Furthermore, the dual-tone style is completed with the matte black hood bulge, mirror caps, and roof.
According to Kuruma News, the final product's design may incorporate a rear wing and a revised rear bumper, both of which are presently under development. It's too soon to speculate on pricing. Aside from cosmetic changes, Nissan Z is likely to get several tuning kits for the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine, which currently delivers 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS) and 475 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque through a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission.
