This 1,150 HP Nissan Skyline GT-R Would Look Quite At Home In The Desert

It's unlikely you'll ever see another Nissan Skyline GT-R in the R34 version like this. While it isn't known what color this Skyline was originally painted in, the paint job has been given what you'd expect to see on dunes in the Middle East. The "DSRT EGL" license plates are very appropriate.
Maatouks Racing in Sydney has extensively modified this Skyline, including overhauling the powerplant. Unlike previous R34 GT-R models, which had the brand's renowned RB26 2.6-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder motor, this R34's engine has been tuned to 3.2 liters.
In addition, the twin-turbo arrangement has been replaced with a single, significantly larger turbocharger. A slew of further improvements, including the installation of a Haltech ECU, have resulted in this Nissan Skyline producing 1,150 hp at 38 psi of boost.
An inlet sits where the passenger side headlights used to be, helping to keep the motor cool. Nissan Skyline also features an aftermarket hood with four huge vents for better cooling, as well as six-spoke black wheels.
