Third generation Skoda Octavia RS – officially!

According to the company that is part of the Volkswagen group, the new Skoda Octavia RS is "the fastest Octavia series in history".
The model will be displayed at the Speed Festival from Goodwood in July 2013 and will be available in 2 bodywork versions - sedan and break - and with 2 engine options - one on gasoline and one diesel.
IN the gasoline version, Octavia 3 RS takes over the engine of 2.0 liters TSI from Golf VII GTI, which develops 220 HP and allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. In the diesel version, the Czech model receives the 2.0 liters TDI engine from Golf VII GTD, which produces 184 HP and allows the card to reach the top speed of 232 km/h, while the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.1 seconds.
As standard, the most visually aggressive Skoda Octavia will be available with a manual gearbox with six gears for both bodywork versions, the automatic gearbox with double clutch DSG being on the options list.
