Think Go-Karts For Your New Geely Panda Mini EV!
by AutoExpert | 10 April, 2024
An updated Panda Mini EV city dweller with a motorsports-inspired bodykit and unique paintwork was unveiled in China by Geely. This stunning livery and a wing installed on the top are the hallmarks of the new special version. A pair of small fins have been added to the hood, and the front bumper has been reworked to include bigger intakes and a noticeable splitter.
Larger side skirts and fake side gills on the doors support a pair of 14-inch wheels hidden by fender extensions. You can have the limited edition microcar in white, black, or gray, but it will always have pink artwork. Thanks to the aerodynamic upgrades, the overall length is 3,150 mm (124 inches), which is 85 mm (3.3 inches) more than the regular model.
Even though it has the same 2,015 mm (79.3 in) wheelbase as the original, the Go Kart Edition has a wing that adds 85 mm (3.3 in) height and widens the bike by 18 mm (0.7 in). All that sportiness, however, does not extend to the inside, which remains totally stock. Both the 8-inch infotainment touchscreen and the extended 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster are still present on the dashboard. The Panda Mini EV Go Kart Edition doesn't come with any extra power or a more polished chassis setup.
The model's 40 horsepower and 81 lb-ft of torque are provided by a single electric motor, and it allows the driver to choose between a standard and sport mode. The new special from Geely hasn't been officially announced, but the regular Panda Mini EV can reach a maximum range of 200 km (124 miles) when using the CLTC protocols, thanks to its 17.03 kWh battery pack. As far as we know, the Geely Panda Mini EV Go Kart will only be available to Chinese clients, but we will reveal pricing and availability later on.
