The New Genesis Neolun Is A Concept SUV Inspired By Korea's Iconic Porcelain Jars
by AutoExpert | 27 March, 2024
A brand-new concept SUV from Genesis appears to be in the works. At the New York Auto Show this year, the Neolun will have its premiere. Genesis Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke adds that the Neolun concept takes design cues from "Korea's iconic moon-shaped porcelain jars."
For starters, the concept has a distinctive boxy form and Genesis's characteristic two-line lighting pattern on both the front and back.
The stylish exterior features a two-tone paint job in Majestic Blue and Midnight Black, while the interior showcases exquisite Royal Indigo leather and white piping. Two rows of plush chairs turn towards one another to create a cozier effect. Another intriguing feature is that the concept's floor is heated.
With the Neolun's state-of-the-art sound architecture and specialized sound system, passengers may enjoy their favorite music. The front compartment, akin to the GV60, showcases a spinning crystal sphere upon activation of the music system. At this stage, the Genesis Neolun concept is limited to just two rows of seating.
We don't yet know the specs, pricing, or engine. By year's end, we anticipate having more information.
