MINI is introducing the Resolute Mode, a new trim influenced by the company's history, which will start at $35,900 in the United States. Only the MINI Cooper S Hardtop 2 Door may be bought with the trim, which costs $1,000 more than the regular model.
It's driven by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder motor with 189 horsepower and 206 pound-feet of torque. It accelerates to 60 mph in 6.5 secs with the basic six-speed manual gearbox, and in 6.4 secs with the alternative seven-speed Steptronic double-clutch gearbox.
The exterior is completed in Rebel Green, a British Racing Green-inspired color. Previously limited for the MINI John Cooper Works, the paint is now complemented with a Pepper White top and mirror caps. Resolute Bronze is used to complete the work around the headlights, radiator grille, door and tailgate handles, and the fuel filler cap.
An anthracite-colored roof liner and unique Black Pearl/Light Chequered fabric and leatherette welcome drivers on the inside. At no additional cost, Nappa leather sports seats are also available. The MINI Cooper S Hardtop 2 Door Resolute Edition has already begun to arrive in dealerships in the United States.
