The Glickenhaus 004 Is Turning Dreams Into Drive
by AutoExpert | 5 December, 2024
Glickenhaus has officially started production of the highly anticipated 004 Series, with deliveries set to begin early next year. The road-going supercar comes in two variants—the 004S and the more hardcore 004CS—both featuring a center-seat layout and a gated six-speed manual transmission.
Powering both models is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 650 horsepower.
Despite its performance focus, the 004S includes some comfort features like climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and six-way power-adjustable seats (the 004CS gets a simpler four-way setup). Impressively, it’s the first modern supercar to pass NHTSA crash tests without using airbags.
Buyers can opt for extras like adjustable Bilstein shocks and a fire suppression system. The 004CS steps things up with aggressive aerodynamics, larger brakes, and center-lock wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. A front lift system comes standard, making it more track-ready.
For those looking for something truly bespoke, the Founder series offers full customization, from unique interiors to one-off paint colors. Orders are now open for all variants.
