The Bertone GB110 Is A Crazy Hypercar With 1,085 Horsepower

Bertone, an Italian coachbuilder, is celebrating its revival and 110th anniversary by creating its own supercar. The GB110 is a mid-engined vehicle with design aspects that recall Bertone's earlier works, such as the Alfa BAT vehicles of the 1950s, the Carabo of the late 1960s, and most notably, the slick Stratos Zero.
Bertone claims it will produce 33 units, but the price and other important elements of the new product are kept under wraps.
According to Bertone, the internal combustion engine produces 1,085 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque at 8,400 revolutions per minute, and it is designed to operate on synthetic fuels derived from recycled plastic. The GB110, which is just slightly slower than a Bugatti Chiron, is said to be capable of going from 0 to 62 mph in 2.79 seconds, 0 to 124 mph in 6.79 seconds, and 186 mph in 14 seconds. It can reach speeds above 236 mph, according to Bertone.
Bertone's Project & Design Manager maintains that the GB110 is fundamentally an Italian automobile, despite its German core: “It has Italian class and style, and it is built to excite its owner and to ignite the passion of sports car aficionados,” remarks Giovanni Sapio.
