The sales of the new version will debut this summer and the 340 HP engine will offer a standard Start-Stop system. The six-cylinder V-engine offers 450 Nm of torque.
The engine comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 7.4 seconds, which makes it a bit slower than the replaced unit, which was doing that in just 6.5 seconds.
The positive side is that the new engine is environmentally friendly and much more economical; the CO2 emissions reduce with almost 15% because the V6 unit is emitting only 254 grams per kilometer. The fuel consumption will also reduce, but the English have not yet revealed the values associated with the new engines.
