The 2025 Nissan GT-R R35 Series Wants To Say Goodbye In Style
by AutoExpert | 14 March, 2024
Rumor has it that the 2025 Nissan GT-R will be the final model in the R35 series, which debuted in 2007. A new blue interior option and Nismo goodies for the T-Spec and Track Edition cars are among the model-year changes released for the GT-R in the Japanese market by the automaker.
Having carried over the revised components presented with the 2024 facelift, the model does not provide any exterior or interior improvements. However, a new upholstery option called Blue Heaven is available for the GT-R Premium Edition.
One notable modification for 2025 is the inclusion, in the Premium Edition T-Spec and the Track Edition, of the Nismo Special Edition's high-precision, weight-balanced piston rings, connecting rods, and crankshafts. Standard GT-R and Nismo versions share the same twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 that generates 565 horsepower and 600 horsepower, respectively, thanks to version-specific chassis tuning.
You can place an order for a 2025 Nissan GT-R R35 right now, and you can expect to receive yours in June. Prices range widely, from the most affordable GT-R Nismo Special Edition costing ¥30,613,000 ($207,088) to the most costly GT-R Pure Edition starting at ¥14,443,000 ($97,703).
