Spy Shots Reveal Fiat's Entry-Level Grande Panda RED In Italy
by AutoExpert | 1 July, 2024
Fiat showed the entry-level trim level of the new Grande Panda in Italy, just two weeks after its public unveiling. We are discussing the yet-to-be-unveiled Fiat Grande Panda RED, which will sport white steelies and a spare specification.
The electric vehicle was observed cruising around Turin in the wee hours of the morning. Elena Scandurra gave us our first look at the Grande Panda in RED trim with her Instagram spy photos and videos. The white steelies on the Fiat Grande Panda RED are a nod to the classic Panda.
In contrast to the launch special's 17-inch four-spoke alloys, these wheels have a smaller diameter. The absence of roof rails and parking sensors is another notable change, as is the substitution of unpainted plastic for the faux aluminum skid plates. The Panda lettering, debossed on the profile, is similar to the Fiat logo on the tailgate.
Fiat has confirmed that the Grande Panda will be available with mild-hybrid and fully electric powertrains, but they have not officially announced the exact technical specifications. We expect the 3.99 m (157.1 in) long model to offer the same powertrains, based on the same Smart Car architecture as the Citroen C3 and e-C3. Spy photos taken in Italy recently validated the oval-themed design with cork accents and the traditional dashboard shelf, though the company has not yet revealed the interior.
The top-tier model seems to come with an electronic control panel. Fiat would celebrate its 125th anniversary on July 11, 2024, coinciding with the potential market launch of the Grande Panda. We anticipate the Grande Panda, particularly in its mild-hybrid configuration, to offer the most affordable price point among Fiat vehicles.
