Smart #3 Gets A Fierce Boost With New Brabus Tuning Kit
by AutoExpert | 27 August, 2024
Brabus has just unveiled an array of aftermarket parts designed to improve the aerodynamics and road presence of the Smart #3 Brabus. This special package is specifically designated for the Smart #3 Brabus, in contrast to the recent tuning kit for the Smart #1, which was created for the complete series.
The eye-catching splitter reduces front-axle lift at high speeds, while the bumper intakes and their sporty extensions add to the car's fierce appearance.
On the back, Brabus has installed a larger spoiler and a diffuser-like insert into the rear fascia, both made of high-grade PUR synthetic material to ensure OEM quality. Another noticeable improvement is the switch from standard 20-inch wheels to a pair of 21-inch Brabus Monoblock Z Platinum Edition alloy wheels. Future owners may choose from 255/35 ZR21 tires made by Yokohama, Continental, or Hankook to fit these wheels.
Brabus also offers a smaller version of the same design measuring 20 inches. Likewise, the Smart #3 can be customized with Brabus sports springs that drop it 1.4 inches for a more aggressive posture.
The all-electric powertrain remains unchanged. Still, the Smart #3 Brabus's 66 kWh battery pack powers a pair of electric motors that provide 422 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. This setup accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds.
Moreover, Brabus offers various "refinement options" for the interior. The tuner includes a velour cargo mat, lighted side sills, floor mats, and aluminum pedals, all of which proudly display the Brabus emblem. Pricing for the Smart #3 Brabus's modifications and extras is available upon request.
