Lancia will change its strategy in the future, according to Italy's Repubblica. The Torino Brand will focus on the Italian market and will waive all models except Ypsilon.
On the UK market, for example, Lancia models are currently sold with Chrysler logo since 2011. Lancia will keep only Ypsilon, Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Group, has confirmed its intention to abandon the Delta, Flavia, Thema and Voyager within the interview with the Italians from Repubblica.
The discussion about Lancia`s future was linked to the Fiat Group's future plans, aiming a concentration on volumes through ranges as Panda and 500, in the case of the brand which gave its name to the group, respectively a demonstration of an Italian excellence for Alfa Romeo.
Detailed plans about the Milan will be published later, explains Marchionne. The date on which the change will be applied has not been specified.
