Rev Up for the New York Auto Show 2024: Gearheads' Paradise!
by AutoExpert | 26 March, 2024
Are you ready? The New York Auto Show is about to blow into town! If you're obsessed with all things cars (like us), this is THE event. It's got a ton of history, dating way back to 1900. So, here's everything you need to know if you're planning to go:
When the car madness happens:
- Press and industry folks get an exclusive sneak peek on March 27th and 28th.
- Us regulars get to invade the space from March 29th all the way to April 7th.
- Hours are mostly 10 am to 10 pm, except for the last day (April 7th) when they kick us out early at 7 pm.
- Want to beat the biggest crowds? Snag an Early Access pass and get in a whole hour earlier at 9 am.
Where to find the action:
- It's the same old spot – Javits Center (429 11th Ave, New York, NY 10001).
- They've got two major exhibit areas to explore:
- Level 3 is where the big-name carmakers strut their stuff with all the latest models.
- Level 1 is the ultimate playground: test drives (especially for EVs), classic car drool-fests, modded rides that'll blow your mind, and lots more.
How to get there and snag those tickets:
- Buying tickets online ahead of time is the smart move to save some cash:
- Adults: $22
- Kids (3-12): $8
- Early Access: $48 for adults, $18 for kids
- They even have sweet discounts for groups and fancy guided tours if that's your jam.
- Forget about parking at Javits – it's a New York nightmare. Best bet is using Spot Hero to find a decent spot in the area and secure it beforehand.
- Or go full-on New Yorker and take the subway, bus system, or even the ferry (all the deets are on their website).
So, any chance you'll be hitting up the show? We definitely will be, geeking out over all the coolest new cars and bringing you all the inside scoops!
