RM Sotheby's will host the auction for this rare 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica LWB on December 3, 2016, in Paris, France. Be ready to put aside a huge amount of money, as it won't go cheap.
The 400 Superamerica was first unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1959 and was powered by a 4-liter V12 with a 4-speed manual transmission. After seeing strong interest, Ferrari rolled out the 400 SuperAmerica Aerodinamico Coupe which later was offered in a long-wheelbase variant.
There were only 18 units ever made and this particular car has the chassis #3391 SA and is finished in original silver exterior and Black interior.
The auctioneers expect the bids to reach around $3.6 Million considering this is a very rare classic supercar.
