Radford Has Returned With The Release Of The New Lotus Type 62-2
by AutoExpert | 8 December, 2021
Lotus Type 62-2 debuted in August, and it's the vehicle that reintroduced the Radford name to the automotive market. The coupe is based on the Lotus Type 62 racing car and will be limited to 62 units.
The model preserves the British car's style and dimensions and will be offered in two variants: Classic and Gold Leaf. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V6 engine from Toyota. Customers will be able to choose between a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
The engine will be offered in two power outputs: 430 hp with a manual transmission and 500 hp with an automatic transmission. Jenson Button, the former Formula 1 world champion, is behind the Radford project and has tested the Lotus Type 62-2 coupe on the track ahead of its 2022 delivery to clients.
