France's Peugeot is physically and morally prepared for the next season Dakar 2016. The proof is the new Peugeot 2008 fireball called DKR2016, which otherwise have great hopes.
The team, led by Stephane Peterhansel in, will have the opportunity to test the car in action who suffered not only technical but also visual changes. The V6 three-liter engine volume remained practically unchanged, but the wheels can put some more horsepower, and though don't know what miracle, the maximum power yet can be accessed from low revs.
The engineers installed a new suspension, able to face new challenges, such as adapting land. The prototype's weight has been reduced by several kilograms of material produced through the use of new alloy magnesium instead of aluminum, but also because the Michelin tires supplied.
After all the changes made, Peterhansel looks somewhat optimistic and confident in victory, that even if they managed to climb last year only 11 positions.
