Pagani Huayra Successor: New Details
by AutoExpert | 28 October, 2021
The Pagani Huayra's era is drawing to a close. Indeed, Pagani was still constructing the occasional Zonda for well-heeled customers until recently. This is likely to be the case for Huayra as well. The track-only Huayra R gave us a glimpse of what the Huayra road car successor, dubbed C10, will look like.
Horacio Pagani has spoken openly about the car's specifications with the Italian journal Quattroruote. To begin with, the mysterious hypercar will be driven by a new version of the AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12.
This motor took six years to build and will be available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a next-generation sequential transmission.
"My audience wants to feel emotions when driving," Pagani said. "They don't care about pure performance." Expect the hypercar to have only about 40 hp more than the Huayra. It won't be more than 888 hp.
Although an all-electric Pagani is rumored to be coming in 2024, it appears that Pagani's primary attention is still on the C10. It isn't a hybrid, to be explicit. The successor to the Pagani Huayra will be unveiled in 2022, with a production run of 280 to 300 units planned.
