Open Doors For The New Iconic 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 S 4Matic+: Revamped and Ravishing
by AutoExpert | 13 October, 2023
After six and a half months since the last Mercedes-Benz GLA family update, the iconic GLA 45 S 4Matic+ has received a makeover. Though subtle, the changes to the 45 S 4Matic+ enhance its already captivating appearance.
Updates begin at the front, where, similar to the standard model, the 2024 GLA 45 S 4Matic+ sports a fresh fascia with a redesigned grille and reshaped air intakes. The LED headlights now showcase new light signatures, and there's an option to upgrade to Multibeam LED headlights.
A noteworthy addition is the extended black cad that matches the body color, complementing the wheel arch extensions. Visually, 20-inch wheels with a five-spoke design and an available 21-inch wheel set stand out. The engine remains untouched: a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder that belts out 416 HP at 6,750 rpm and 369 lb-ft between 5,000-5,250 rpm under European standards.
The fate of this model in the American market is yet to be confirmed, given its absence of the iconic GLA 45 S features. Performance-wise, it accelerates from 0-62 mph in a mere 4.3 seconds, with the crossover maxing out at 168 mph.
This engine works seamlessly with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, equipped with two multi-plate clutches connected to respective drive shafts on the rear axle, ensuring variable power distribution between the front and rear.
Inside, you'll find the latest AMG Performance steering wheel, an updated MBUX infotainment system complete with an AMG-specific screen design supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The interior is draped in Sage Grey / Black Artico faux leather and Microcut microfiber, now also available in Bahia Brown. Additionally, Red Pepper / Black leather options are available.
Pricing details for the 2024 GLA 45 S 4Matic+ remain under wraps by Mercedes-AMG.
