Of course, it just HAD to be Russian. They cannot seem to make anything anybody else in the world wants to buy, but they sure throw lots of Rubles at anything military. Kind of funny too, that red grille on the front makes a good rocket target.
This monster weighs in at 4.5 tons and carries 10 fully armed troops. The prototype, built last year used a Cummins 4 cylinder diesel, but the "production" model you see in the photos has a Kamaz 700hp V8 Diesel. Guess the radical angle of the front is to deflect enemy fire but then why shoot at that when you have the red target on the front?
Given the angle of the windshield, maybe the best way to stop this ugly monster would be to toss a few buckets of paint on them and stop it cold without firing a shot. So much for Russian innovation.
