The Goodwood Festival of Speed is fast approaching, and with it, the major car manufacturers, in turn, reveals its much-anticipated premieres. Among these is included Nissan, which recently published the first teaser with a new model Nissan Juke-R NISMO.
Even if the name is already known, do not hurry to confuse the old Juke-R. It is true that those two have a lot in common, besides the name. The new crossover is built in compliance with the previously accepted recipe saying what the Juke body should be, the engine, and transmission taken from a Nissan GT-R. And if in the past, Juke-R could boast only 485 horsepower V6 extracted from their turbo-aspirated 3.8-liter, then the new model could include no less than 592 horsepower and a torque of up at 652 Nm!
So far, the pocket rocket is shown to be an experimental prototype, but if they find enough people willing to buy cars, then those from Nissan will launch a limited production at some units. True, that the price will not be one of the most accessible, as for instance, the old Juke-R amounted to 590,000 dollars.
It remains to be seen how this new concept will present at the Goodwood Festival, which will take place on June 25.
