Mr Bean, the most unlikely supercar freak!
by AllAutoExperts | 24 August, 2015
Rowan Atkinson aka "Mr. Bean" puts on the persona of a bulgy eyed, accident-prone dummy with wild expressions on his face.
The 60-year-old British actor has however made a fortune with that persona and he has spent a lot of that fortune as a car collector. He has lots of reasons to smile as he steps out of his British supercar and is greeted by crowds of cheering fans!
He not only collects cars, but he also races historic cars as a hobby and adds to his car collection on a regular basis. He also makes out like a bandito on them, he had a McLaren F1 that was wrecked twice he sold for $12.2 million last June, netting him a cool $11 million profit on the deal.
Atkinson is no dummy either, he may play one on the screen, but he holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen's College, Oxford, which was overshadowed by his work in a theater where he received accolades for his wacky performances and has turned it into a fantastic career.
He may love cars, but he does have a rather spotty driving record, that demonstrated by the twice crashed McLaren F1 and a few other mishaps. However with a net worth of over $133 million, he can pretty much continue his wacky driving and just toss the wrecked car, or as with the McLaren, sell it for a tidy profit.
