Meet The Farelady, Kahn's Adapted TX5 London Cab
by AutoExpert | 9 December, 2022
Even though the TX5 from London Electric Vehicle Company has been successful since its release, it has room for improvement, and that's where Kahn comes in. The Farelady is Kahn's latest innovation, and the tuner has already produced at least two units and will sell it in both left- and right-hand drive variants.
Kahn has redesigned the TX5's grille to resemble that of modern Mercedes-Maybach vehicles, starting with the vehicle's exterior. The Farelady rides on lightweight and stylish forged 18-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels up front and back, respectively.
The TX5's cabin has undergone even more extensive renovations. All new quilted seats, which Kahn claims were influenced by the ones in the Bugatti Chiron, are one example. When buying a Farelady, customers have a broad variety of leather options to choose from, including light brown leather and bright orange leather.
In addition to the aforementioned features, the interior has also been upgraded with a starry headliner, punctured leather on select surfaces, wireless phone charging, customizable lighting, and USB Type-C charging outlets. In total, an upgraded TX5 costs £99,000 ($120,000) + VAT.
