Maserati has unveiled a new generation of its iconic GranTurismo, marking the first update in 16 years. Maserati has released an extensive photo gallery showcasing the car in various colors, including Blu Nobile, Giallo Corse, and Rosso GranTurismo.
While the styling is significantly different from the previous model, it still retains its distinctive GranTurismo appearance. Car enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating its release later this year.
The new GranTurismo differs from its predecessor in terms of its engine, as it now features a detuned version of the MC20 supercar's "Nettuno" 3.0L twin-turbo V6, while the previous model used a Ferrari-derived V8. The new engine is capable of generating 483 hp and 443 lb-ft in its original form and can produce up to 542 hp and 479 lb-ft in the Trofeo model.
Moreover, Maserati has announced the availability of an all-electric Folgore version of the GranTurismo, which features three electric motors that produce an impressive 751 hp and 996 lb-ft of torque.
The starting price of the 2023 GranTurismo in the United States is $174,000 for the Modena trim and $205,000 for the Trofeo, which is the high-performance variant. In Europe, these models will begin at €181,200 ($193,250) and €226,200 ($241,243), respectively. However, pricing for the electric Folgore version has not been announced.
